II. Liquor and Drinking
Hong Kong’s liquor control regime is primarily set out in the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance (Cap. 109) and its subsidiary legislation, the Dutiable Commodities (Liquor) Regulations (Cap. 109B). These laws, enforced by the Customs and Excise Department, govern the imposition of duty, as well as the licensing, manufacture, storage, sale, supply, inspection, and enforcement relating to liquor.
