D. Restrictions on money lending advertisements

A money lender is required to comply with the restrictions imposed by the Money Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163) on the issue or publication of advertisements, business letters or similar official communications. These restrictions and requirements include clearly displaying or announcing the money lender’s name and its money lender licence number, and the necessary risk warnings.
