B. Early repayment by borrowers

A borrower has the right under the Money Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163) to repay the loan early at any time upon giving written notice to the money lender. In this case, the borrower shall pay the outstanding principal amount together with interest calculated up to the date of the payment. The money lender is not allowed to charge additional interest for the early repayment.
