1. What are some examples of trade marks that are “descriptive of the goods or services”?
Trade marks which describe the goods and services or shows the kind, quality, quantity, intended purpose, value, geographical origin, time of production of goods or rendering of services, or other characteristics of goods or services are not registrable. For example, "QUALITY HANDBAGS", "FRESH AND NEW" and "NEW YORK FASHION" would be considered as descriptive.
