2. When can interim maintenance be applied for?
Interim maintenance can be applied for after a divorce, nullity, or judicial separation petition has been presented, or after a joint application has been made, and even after the granting of decree absolute.
Applications for interim maintenance for children can be a standalone application or made alongside applications for maintenance pending suit for the spouse.
