8. If the court orders an injunction against the defendant but the defendant fails to comply with it, how can the plaintiff enforce the order?

Failure to comply with the court order (including an injunction) may constitute a civil contempt of court.  The plaintiff may apply to the Court for an order to commit the defendant for fine and/or imprisonment in light of his breach of court order.

If the defendant’s conduct goes beyond mere non-compliance with a court order and involves a serious interference with the administration of justice, it could amount to a criminal contempt.
