1. Would judges take into consideration that the litigants in person are disadvantaged in understanding court procedures and give legal advice to them?
The judge is the administrator of the law and is neutral in adjudicating cases between the parties no matter whether they are legally represented or not. Therefore, the judge will not and cannot give any legal advice to litigants in person.
