11. What is the manner in which annual leave may be taken?

Paid annual leave shall be granted for an unbroken period. If the employee so requests, it shall be granted in the following manner:

(a) If the leave entitlement does not exceed 10 days, up to 3 days can be granted separately. The balance must be granted consecutively.

(b) If the leave entitlement exceeds 10 days, at least 7 days should be granted consecutively. The balance may be granted separately.
