18. Can a decision of the Court of First Instance of High Court be appealed?

Yes. Both the Claimant and the Defendant may apply to the Court of Appeal for leave to appeal within seven days after the date of the decision of the Court of First Instance. The Court of Appeal may grant leave to appeal if it considers that a question of law of general public importance is involved.
