3. Would participants be potentially liable for unlawful assembly or riot?
Those who take part in a strike should comply with the law. It is not advisable to organize or get involved in any public gathering that appears to be unlawful. If an assembly by itself is unlawful, the participants will be liable. In any event, a strike should not involve any form of public gathering. The definition of "strike" refers to only cessation of work, not any form of public gathering.
