4. How much does it cost to file a claim?
| Claim Amount | Filing Fee |
| $2,000 or less | $20 |
| $2,001 - $5,000 | $30 |
| $5,001 - $10,000 | $40 |
| Over $10,000 | $50 |
A fee of $10 per defendant address is charged for serving the required documents on the Defendant. If your claim succeeds, then you can apply for costs incurred in putting your claim forward to be added to the award. If your claim does not succeed, then you may have to pay costs to the Defendant.
