b) Employment Compensation Ordinance is applicable under certain circumstances
Under section 30B(5) of the Employment Compensation Ordinance (Cap. 282), even if the employer carries business outside Hong Kong, if he has agreed to submit to the jurisdiction of Hong Kong Courts, then the Ordinance will still apply notwithstanding that the accident occurred outside Hong Kong.
