28. What legal consequences will my employer face if he fails to grant statutory paternity leave or fails to pay statutory paternity leave pay?
An employer who without reasonable excuse fails to grant paternity leave or paternity leave pay to an eligible employee is liable to prosecution and, upon conviction, to a fine of $50,000.
